THE PROJECT
Making a small footprint work harder.
The proposal replaces a single-storey unit behind the existing corner building with two-storey residential accommodation. It sits within an established North London street, where the relationship between the new work and neighbouring buildings is central to the design.
Liongate’s involvement focused on developing the practical layout and supporting details for the existing scheme: access, internal circulation, materials, and cycle and refuse arrangements.

DESIGN DEVELOPMENT
Detail that supports everyday living.
The layout study records circulation routes, door clearances and access arrangements around the ground-floor living space. It makes the requirements of a compact home visible in the drawing package.
Material and architectural details develop the external appearance, while cycle and refuse storage are considered alongside the building’s day-to-day use.

LIONGATE’S ROLE
Turning requirements into clear drawings.
Supporting residential design work within an existing proposal.
- Accessible-layout and circulation drawings
- Material and architectural detail information
- Cycle and refuse arrangements
- Coordination of the supporting design package
