This project at Land to the Rear of 37 Farmstead Road involved planning support consultancy for a small residential development within a constrained rear land context in London. The scheme required careful consideration of privacy, material compatibility, and integration with the surrounding residential terrace.
Our role focused on providing planning-aligned input alongside technical documentation, ensuring that key design elements such as obscure glazing, amenity space, and material selection were presented in a clear and policy-compliant manner. The proposal incorporated matching stock brick, UPVC windows, pitched roof form and appropriate boundary treatment to remain consistent with the existing streetscene and local planning expectations.
